| One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: |

| ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥ |
| jap man har har naam nidhhaan || |
| O mind, meditate on the Treasure of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. |
|
| ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਾਨ ॥ |
| har dharageh paavehi maan || |
| You shall be honored in the Court of the Lord. |
|
| ਜਿਨਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਤੇ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰਾਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| jin japiaa thae paar paraan ||1|| rehaao || |
| Those who chant and meditate shall be carried across to the other shore. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥ |
| sun man har har naam kar dhhiaan || |
| Listen, O mind: meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. |
|
| ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਅਠਸਠਿ ਮਜਾਨੁ ॥ |
| sun man har keerath athasath majaan || |
| Listen, O mind: the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises is equal to bathing at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage. |

| ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥ |
| sun man guramukh paavehi maan ||1|| |
| Listen, O mind: as Gurmukh, you shall be blessed with honor. ||1|| |
|
| ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਪਰਧਾਨੁ ॥ |
| jap man paramaesur paradhhaan || |
| O mind, chant and meditate on the Supreme Transcendent Lord God. |
|
| ਖਿਨ ਖੋਵੈ ਪਾਪ ਕੋਟਾਨ ॥ |
| khin khovai paap kottaan || |
| Millions of sins shall be destroyed in an instant. |
|
| ਮਿਲੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥ |

| O Nanak, you shall meet with the Lord God. ||2||1||7|| |

| ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਸਾਜਿਆ ॥ |
| man har keeaa than sabh saajiaa || |
| The Lord created the mind, and fashioned the entire body. |
|
| ਪੰਚ ਤਤ ਰਚਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ॥ |
| panch thath rach joth nivaajiaa || |
| From the five elements, He formed it, and infused His Light within it. |
|
| ਸਿਹਜਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਬਰਤਨ ਕਉ ਪਾਨੀ ॥ |
| sihajaa dhharath barathan ko paanee || |
| He made the earth its bed, and water for it to use. |
|
| ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਵਿਸਾਰਹੁ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਸਾਰਿਗਪਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ |
| nimakh n visaarahu saevahu saarigapaanee ||1|| |
| Do not forget Him for an instant; serve the Lord of the World. ||1|| |
|
| ਮਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਹੋਇ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੇ ॥ |
| man sathigur saev hoe param gathae || |
| O mind, serve the True Guru, and obtain the supreme status. |
|
| ਹਰਖ ਸੋਗ ਤੇ ਰਹਹਿ ਨਿਰਾਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੂ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| harakh sog thae rehehi niraaraa thaan thoo paavehi praanapathae ||1|| rehaao || |
| If you remain unattached and unaffected by sorrow and joy, then you shall find the Lord of Life. ||1||Pause|| |
|
| ਕਾਪੜ ਭੋਗ ਰਸ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੁੰਚਾਏ ॥ |
| kaaparr bhog ras anik bhunchaaeae || |
| He makes all the various pleasures, clothes and foods for you to enjoy. |
|
| ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਸਗਲ ਬਨਾਏ ॥ |
| maath pithaa kuttanb sagal banaaeae || |
| He made your mother, father and all relatives. |
|
| ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸਮਾਹੇ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮੀਤ ॥ |
| rijak samaahae jal thhal meeth || |
| He provides sustenance to all, in the water and on the land, O friend. |
|
| ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਨੀਤਾ ਨੀਤ ॥੨॥ |
| so har saevahu neethaa neeth ||2|| |
| So serve the Lord, forever and ever. ||2|| |
|
| ਤਹਾ ਸਖਾਈ ਜਹ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਹੋਵੈ ॥ |
| thehaa sakhaaee jeh koe n hovai || |
| He shall be your Helper and Support there, where no one else can help you. |
|
| ਕੋਟਿ ਅਪ੍ਰਾਧ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਧੋਵੈ ॥ |
| kott apraadhh eik khin mehi dhhovai || |
| He washes away millions of sins in an instant. |
|
| ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਨਹੀ ਪਛ+ਤਾਵੈ ॥ |
| dhaath karai nehee pashhuothaavai || |
| He bestows His Gifts, and never regrets them. |
|
| ਕਿਰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਭਾਲਿ ॥ |
| kirath sanjogee paaeiaa bhaal || |
| By pre-ordained destiny, I have searched and found God. |
|
| ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਬਸੇ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥ |
| saadhhasangath mehi basae gupaal || |
| In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Lord of the World abides. |
|
| ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਆਏ ਤੁਮਰੈ ਦੁਆਰ ॥ |
| gur mil aaeae thumarai dhuaar || |
| Meeting with the Guru, I have come to Your Door. |
|
| ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੧॥ |
| jan naanak dharasan dhaehu muraar ||4||1|| |
| O Lord, please bless servant Nanak with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||4||1|| |

| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ॥ |
| prabh kee saevaa jan kee sobhaa || |
| Serving God, His humble servant is glorified. |
|
| ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਮਿਟੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਲੋਭਾ ॥ |
| kaam krodhh mittae this lobhaa || |
| Unfulfilled sexual desire, unresolved anger and unsatisfied greed are eradicated. |
|
| ਨਾਮੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਭੰਡਾਰਿ ॥ |
| naam thaeraa jan kai bhanddaar || |
| Your Name is the treasure of Your humble servant. |
|
| ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਰਸ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥੧॥ |
| gun gaavehi prabh dharas piaar ||1|| |
| Singing His Praises, I am in love with the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan. ||1|| |
|
| ਤੁਮਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਜਨਾਈ ॥ |
| thumaree bhagath prabh thumehi janaaee || |
| You are known, O God, by Your devotees. |
|
| ਕਾਟਿ ਜੇਵਰੀ ਜਨ ਲੀਏ ਛਡਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| kaatt jaevaree jan leeeae shhaddaaee ||1|| rehaao || |
| Breaking their bonds, You emancipate them. ||1||Pause|| |
|
| ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥ |
| jo jan raathaa prabh kai rang || |
| Those humble beings who are imbued with God's Love |
|
| ਤਿਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥ |
| thin sukh paaeiaa prabh kai sang || |
| find peace in God's Congregation. |
|
| ਜਿਸੁ ਰਸੁ ਆਇਆ ਸੋਈ ਜਾਨੈ ॥ |
| jis ras aaeiaa soee jaanai || |
| They alone understand this, to whom this subtle essence comes. |
|
| ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਹੈਰਾਨੈ ॥੨॥ |
| paekh paekh man mehi hairaanai ||2|| |
| Beholding it, and gazing upon it, in their minds they are wonderstruck. ||2|| |
|
| ਸੋ ਸੁਖੀਆ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਤਮੁ ਸੋਇ ॥ |
| so sukheeaa sabh thae ootham soe || |
| They are at peace, the most exalted of all, |
|
| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਵਸਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਇ ॥ |
| jaa kai hridhai vasiaa prabh soe || |
| within whose hearts God dwells. |
|
| ਸੋਈ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਆਵੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ |
| soee nihachal aavai n jaae || |
| They are stable and unchanging; they do not come and go in reincarnation. |
|
| ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥੩॥ |
| anadhin prabh kae har gun gaae ||3|| |
| Night and day, they sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord God. ||3|| |
|
| ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਗਲ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ॥ |
| thaa ko karahu sagal namasakaar || |
| All bow down in humble respect to those |
|
| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ |
| jaa kai man pooran nirankaar || |
| whose minds are filled with the Formless Lord. |
|
| ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੋਹਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਦੇਵਾ ॥ |
| kar kirapaa mohi thaakur dhaevaa || |
| Show mercy unto me, O my Divine Lord and Master. |
|
| ਨਾਨਕੁ ਉਧਰੈ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ॥੪॥੨॥ |
| naanak oudhharai jan kee saevaa ||4||2|| |
| May Nanak be saved, by serving these humble beings. ||4||2|| |
