| The Name of the Lord is the support of His humble servants. |

| By the Grace of the Saints, I meditated on the Name of the Lord. |

| ਤਬ ਤੇ ਧਾਵਤੁ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ |
| thab thae dhhaavath man thripathaaeiaa ||1|| |
| Since then, my restless mind has been satisfied. ||1|| |
|
| ਸੁਖ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥ |
| sukh bisraam paaeiaa gun gaae || |
| I have obtained the home of peace, singing His Glorious Praises. |

| ਸ੍ਰਮੁ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਹਤੀ ਬਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, my anxiety has come to an end. ||2|| |

| ਸਭ ਤਜਿ ਅਨਾਥੁ ਏਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਆਇਓ ॥ |
| sabh thaj anaathh eaek saran aaeiou || |
| I have renounced all - I am an orphan. I have come to the Sanctuary of the One Lord. |

| ਊਚ ਅਸਥਾਨੁ ਤਬ ਸਹਜੇ ਪਾਇਓ ॥੩॥ |

| Since then, I have found the highest celestial home. ||3|| |

| My pains, troubles, doubts and fears are gone. |

| Record the Immortal Lord God within your mind. ||2|| |

| Listen to the Kirtan of His Praises, at the Feet of the Holy. |

| ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਮਿਟਾਇ ॥੩॥ |

| Your fears of birth and death shall depart. ||3|| |

| ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਚਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ |
| so jan rasanaa naam ouchaarai ||1|| |
| chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord, with their tongues. ||1|| |

| ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਸਹਸਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥ |
| har bisarath sehasaa dhukh biaapai || |
| Forgetting the Lord, superstition and sorrow shall overtake you. |

| Listening to the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises, and singing the Lord's Kirtan |

| ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਦੂਖੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ॥੨॥ |
| this jan dhookh nikatt nehee aavai ||2|| |
| misfortune shall not even come near you. ||2|| |

| ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਟਹਲ ਕਰਤ ਜਨੁ ਸੋਹੈ ॥ |
| har kee ttehal karath jan sohai || |
| Working for the Lord, His humble servants look beautiful. |

| ਤਾ ਕਉ ਮਾਇਆ ਅਗਨਿ ਨ ਪੋਹੈ ॥੩॥ |
| thaa ko maaeiaa agan n pohai ||3|| |
| The fire of Maya does not touch them. ||3|| |
|
| ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਇਆਲ ॥ |
| man than mukh har naam dhaeiaal || |
| Within their minds, bodies and mouths, is the Name of the Merciful Lord. |

| ਨਾਨਕ ਤਜੀਅਲੇ ਅਵਰਿ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥੪॥੫੨॥੧੨੧॥ |

| ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਟੇਕ ਟਿਕਾਈ ॥੧॥ |
| gur poorae kee ttaek ttikaaee ||1|| |
| Seek the Support of the Perfect Guru. ||1|| |
|
| ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੁਖ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥ |
| dhukh binasae sukh har gun gaae || |
| Your pain shall depart, and in peace, you shall sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. |

| The Guru has given me the Mantra of the Name of the Lord. |

| ਮਿਟੇ ਵਿਸੂਰੇ ਉਤਰੀ ਚਿੰਤ ॥੨॥ |
| mittae visoorae outharee chinth ||2|| |
| My worries are forgotten, and my anxiety is gone. ||2|| |
|
| ਅਨਦ ਭਏ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥ |

| Meeting with the Merciful Guru, I am in ecstasy. |

| ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਾਟੇ ਜਮ ਜਾਲ ॥੩॥ |

| Showering His Mercy, He has cut away the noose of the Messenger of Death. ||3|| |
