| The fever has departed; God has showered us with peace and tranquility. |

| ਸੀਤਲ ਭਏ ਕੀਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਾਤਿ ॥੧॥ |
| seethal bheae keenee prabh dhaath ||1|| |
| A cooling peace prevails; God has granted this gift. ||1|| |
|
| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਭਏ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ॥ |
| prabh kirapaa thae bheae suhaelae || |
| Your face shall be radiant in the Court of the Lord. ||1||Pause|| |

| the dwelling of all disease is destroyed. ||2|| |

| ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਬੋਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ |

| O Siblings of Destiny, all beings shall be kind to you. ||3|| |

| ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥੩॥ |

| Twenty-four hours a day, O mortal, meditate on God. ||3|| |

| ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥ |

| Pain, suffering and the Messenger of Death do not even approach that one, |

| Auspicious is the day, and auspicious is the chance, |

| ਜਿਤੁ ਭੇਟੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨਿਰਜੋਗ ॥੧॥ |
| jith bhaettae paarabreham nirajog ||1|| |
| which brought me to the Supreme Lord God, the Unjoined, Unlimited One. ||1|| |

| ਓਹ ਬੇਲਾ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥ |

| I am a sacrifice to that time, |

| ਜਿਤੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਜਪੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| Blessed is that moment, and blessed is that time, |

| when my tongue chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Haree. ||2|| |

| ਸਫਲੁ ਓਹੁ ਮਾਥਾ ਸੰਤ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਸਿ ॥ |
| safal ouhu maathhaa santh namasakaaras || |
| Blessed is that forehead, which bows in humility to the Saints. |

| ਚਰਣ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਚਲਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਗਿ ॥੩॥ |

| Says Nanak, those unto whom the Lord becomes Merciful, |

| ਨਾਮੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਭ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ |
| naam simar chinthaa sabh jaahi ||1|| |
| Meditating in remembrance on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, all anxiety is removed. ||1|| |

| ਬਿਨੁ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ |
| bin bhagavanth naahee an koe || |
| Without the Lord God, there is no one else at all. |

| ਮਾਰੈ ਰਾਖੈ ਏਕੋ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| The Guru has carried me across the ocean of fire. ||2|| |

| Meditate on Him and cross over the ocean of fire. ||2|| |

| ਗੁਰ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਇ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥ |
| gur moorath sio laae dhhiaan || |
| I was cut off from the Lord for countless incarnations, and now the Guru united me with Him again. ||3|| |

| ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੩॥ |
| eehaa oohaa paavehi maan ||3|| |
| Here and hereafter, you shall be honored. ||3|| |

| ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਰਣੀ ਆਇਆ ॥ |

| The jewel of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, comes to dwell in the mind. ||1|| |

| O my mind, chant the Bani, the Hymns of the Lord of the Universe. |

| Renounce your arrogant pride, and end the cycle of birth and death. |

| ਇਕਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਇ ॥ |
| eikas bin naahee dhoojaa koe || |
| Without the One Lord, there is no other at all. |

| ਜਾ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥ |
| jaa kee dhrisatt sadhaa sukh hoe ||2|| |
| By His Glance of Grace, eternal peace is obtained. ||2|| |

| ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੀਤੁ ਸਖਾ ਕਰਿ ਏਕੁ ॥ |

| Make the One Lord your friend, intimate and companion. |

| ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਖਰ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਲੇਖੁ ॥੩॥ |

| Write in your mind the Word of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3|| |

| ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਰਬਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥ |

| The Lord Master is totally pervading everywhere. |

| this bho naahee jis naam adhhaaraa ||1|| |
| Those who have the Naam, the Name of the Lord, as their Support, feel no fear. ||1|| |

| ਭਉ ਨ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾ ॥ |

| Fear does not affect those who take to Your Sanctuary. |
