| ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਸਦ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਈ ॥ |
| oothath baithath sadh thisehi dhhiaaee || |
| standing up and sitting down, meditate always on Him. |

| ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਜੋ ਏਕ ਅਲਖੈ ॥ |
| thisehi dhhiaae jo eaek alakhai || |
| Meditate on Him - the One Invisible Lord; |
|
| ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਖੈ ॥੪॥ |
| eehaa oohaa naanak thaeree rakhai ||4|| |
| here and hereafter, O Nanak, He shall save you. ||4|| |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਪੁੰਨ ਬਹੁ ਦਾਨ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh karehi punn bahu dhaan || |
| By His Grace, you give donations in abundance to charities; |
|
| ਮਨ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਕਰਿ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਧਿਆਨ ॥ |
| man aath pehar kar this kaa dhhiaan || |
| O mind, meditate on Him, twenty-four hours a day. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੂ ਆਚਾਰ ਬਿਉਹਾਰੀ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thoo aachaar biouhaaree || |
| By His Grace, you perform religious rituals and worldly duties; |
|
| ਤਿਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਚਿਤਾਰੀ ॥ |
| this prabh ko saas saas chithaaree || |
| think of God with each and every breath. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪੁ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thaeraa sundhar roop || |
| By His Grace, your form is so beautiful; |
|
| ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਅਨੂਪੁ ॥ |
| so prabh simarahu sadhaa anoop || |
| constantly remember God, the Incomparably Beautiful One. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਨੀਕੀ ਜਾਤਿ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thaeree neekee jaath || |
| By His Grace, you have such high social status; |
|
| ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤਿ ॥ |
| so prabh simar sadhaa dhin raath || |
| remember God always, day and night. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਤਿ ਰਹੈ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thaeree path rehai || |
| By His Grace, your honor is preserved; |
|
| ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਸੁ ਕਹੈ ॥੫॥ |
| gur prasaadh naanak jas kehai ||5|| |
| by Guru's Grace, O Nanak, chant His Praises. ||5|| |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁਨਹਿ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਦ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh sunehi karan naadh || |
| By His Grace, you listen to the sound current of the Naad. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਪੇਖਹਿ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh paekhehi bisamaadh || |
| By His Grace, you behold amazing wonders. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸਨਾ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh bolehi anmrith rasanaa || |
| By His Grace, you speak ambrosial words with your tongue. |

| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜੇ ਬਸਨਾ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh sukh sehajae basanaa || |
| By His Grace, you abide in peace and ease. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਹਸਤ ਕਰ ਚਲਹਿ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh hasath kar chalehi || |
| By His Grace, your hands move and work. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਫਲਹਿ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh sanpooran falehi || |
| By His Grace, you are completely fulfilled. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਪਰਮ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh param gath paavehi || |
| By His Grace, you obtain the supreme status. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਹਿ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh sukh sehaj samaavehi || |
| By His Grace, you are absorbed into celestial peace. |
|
| ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਅਵਰ ਕਤ ਲਾਗਹੁ ॥ |
| aisaa prabh thiaag avar kath laagahu || |
| Why forsake God, and attach yourself to another? |
|
| ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨਿ ਜਾਗਹੁ ॥੬॥ |
| gur prasaadh naanak man jaagahu ||6|| |
| By Guru's Grace, O Nanak, awaken your mind! ||6|| |

| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥ |

| By His Grace, you are famous all over the world; |

| ਤਿਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਉ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਮਨਹੁ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ॥ |
| this prabh ko mool n manahu bisaar || |
| never forget God from your mind. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thaeraa parathaap || |
| By His Grace, you have prestige; |
|
| ਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੂੜ ਤੂ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਜਾਪੁ ॥ |
| rae man moorr thoo thaa ko jaap || |
| O foolish mind, meditate on Him! |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਪੂਰੇ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thaerae kaaraj poorae || |
| By His Grace, your works are completed; |
|
| ਤਿਸਹਿ ਜਾਨੁ ਮਨ ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰੇ ॥ |
| thisehi jaan man sadhaa hajoorae || |
| O mind, know Him to be close at hand. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਸਾਚੁ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh thoon paavehi saach || |
| By His Grace, you find the Truth; |
|
| ਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੂੰ ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਰਾਚੁ ॥ |
| rae man maerae thoon thaa sio raach || |
| O my mind, merge yourself into Him. |
|
| ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸਭ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥ |
| jih prasaadh sabh kee gath hoe || |
| By His Grace, everyone is saved; |
|
| ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾਪੁ ਜਪੈ ਜਪੁ ਸੋਇ ॥੭॥ |
| naanak jaap japai jap soe ||7|| |
| O Nanak, meditate, and chant His Chant. ||7|| |
|
| ਆਪਿ ਜਪਾਏ ਜਪੈ ਸੋ ਨਾਉ ॥ |
| aap japaaeae japai so naao || |
| Those, whom He inspires to chant, chant His Name. |

| ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਫਲ ਜਨੰਮ ॥੫॥ |
| naanak saadhh kai sang safal jananm ||5|| |
| O Nanak, in the Company of the Holy, one's life becomes fruitful. ||5|| |

| In the Company of the Holy, there is no suffering. |

| ਦਰਸਨੁ ਭੇਟਤ ਹੋਤ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥ |
| dharasan bhaettath hoth nihaal || |
| The Blessed Vision of their Darshan brings a sublime, happy peace. |
|
| ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਲੂਖਤ ਹਰੈ ॥ |
| saadhh kai sang kalookhath harai || |
| In the Company of the Holy, blemishes are removed. |
|
| ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਰਕ ਪਰਹਰੈ ॥ |
| saadhh kai sang narak pareharai || |
| In the Company of the Holy, hell is far away. |
|
| ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ॥ |
| saadhh kai sang eehaa oohaa suhaelaa || |
| In the Company of the Holy, one is happy here and hereafter. |
|
| ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਬਿਛੁਰਤ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਾ ॥ |
| saadhhasang bishhurath har maelaa || |
| In the Company of the Holy, the separated ones are reunited with the Lord. |
|
| ਜੋ ਇਛੈ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥ |
| jo eishhai soee fal paavai || |
| The fruits of one's desires are obtained. |
|
| ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਾਵੈ ॥ |
| saadhh kai sang n birathhaa jaavai || |
| In the Company of the Holy, no one goes empty-handed. |
|
| ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸਾਧ ਰਿਦ ਬਸੈ ॥ |
| paarabreham saadhh ridh basai || |
| The Supreme Lord God dwells in the hearts of the Holy. |
|
| ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੈ ਸਾਧ ਸੁਨਿ ਰਸੈ ॥੬॥ |
| naanak oudhharai saadhh sun rasai ||6|| |
| O Nanak, listening to the sweet words of the Holy, one is saved. ||6|| |

| In the Company of the Holy, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. |
|
| ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਬਿਸਰੈ ॥ |

| In the Company of the Holy, do not forget Him from your mind. |
