| These blessings and wealth are Yours. |

| Servant Nanak has meditated on the One Lord; |

| ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਸਰੋਵਰਿ ਨਾਤੇ ॥ |

| Bathing in the nectar tank of Ram Das, |
|
| ਸਭਿ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਾਤੇ ॥ |
| sabh outharae paap kamaathae || |
| all sins are erased. |

| ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਕਰਿ ਇਸਨਾਨਾ ॥ |
| niramal hoeae kar eisanaanaa || |
| One becomes immaculately pure, taking this cleansing bath. |

| ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਕੀਨੇ ਦਾਨਾ ॥੧॥ |
| gur poorai keenae dhaanaa ||1|| |
| The Perfect Guru has bestowed this gift. ||1|| |
|
| ਸਭਿ ਕੁਸਲ ਖੇਮ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ |
| sabh kusal khaem prabh dhhaarae || |
| God has blessed all with peace and pleasure. |

| ਸਹੀ ਸਲਾਮਤਿ ਸਭਿ ਥੋਕ ਉਬਾਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| sehee salaamath sabh thhok oubaarae gur kaa sabadh veechaarae || rehaao || |
| Everything is safe and sound, as we contemplate the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||Pause|| |

| ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਮਲੁ ਲਾਥੀ ॥ |
| saadhhasang mal laathhee || |
| In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, filth is washed off. |

| ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਭਇਓ ਸਾਥੀ ॥ |
| paarabreham bhaeiou saathhee || |
| The Supreme Lord God has become our friend and helper. |
|
| ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥ |

| Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. |

| sukh saagar gur paaeiaa || thaa sehasaa sagal mittaaeiaa ||1|| |
| I found the Guru, the ocean of peace, and all my doubts were dispelled. ||1|| |

| ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ |
| har kae naam kee vaddiaaee || |
| This is the glorious greatness of the Naam. |
|
| ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਈ ॥ |
| aath pehar gun gaaee || |
| Twenty-four hours a day, I sing His Glorious Praises. |
|
| ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| I obtained this from the Perfect Guru. ||Pause|| |

| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥ |

| God's sermon is inexpressible. |

| ਜਨ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ |
| jan bolehi anmrith baanee || |
| His humble servants speak words of Ambrosial Nectar. |
|
| ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਵਖਾਣੀ ॥ |
| naanak dhaas vakhaanee || |
| Slave Nanak has spoken. |

| The Guru has blessed me with peace here, |

| ਪਾਛੈ ਕੁਸਲ ਖੇਮ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਆ ॥ |
| paashhai kusal khaem gur keeaa || |
| and the Guru has arranged peace and pleasure for me hereafter. |
|
| ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ |
| sarab nidhhaan sukh paaeiaa || |
| I have all treasures and comforts, |
|
| ਗੁਰੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਰਿਦੈ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ |
| gur apunaa ridhai dhhiaaeiaa ||1|| |
| meditating on the Guru in my heart. ||1|| |
|
| ਅਪਨੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ |
| apanae sathigur kee vaddiaaee || |
| This is the glorious greatness of my True Guru; |
|
| ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਫਲ ਪਾਈ ॥ |
| man eishhae fal paaee || |
| I have obtained the fruits of my mind's desires. |
|
| ਸੰਤਹੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਚੜੈ ਸਵਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| O Saints, His Glory increases day by day. ||Pause|| |

| ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨੇ ॥ |
| jeea janth sabh bheae dhaeiaalaa prabh apanae kar dheenae || |
| All beings and creatures have become kind and compassionate to me; my God has made them so. |

| ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਮਿਲੇ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਚਿ ਪਤੀਨੇ ॥੨॥੩॥੬੭॥ |
| sehaj subhaae milae gopaalaa naanak saach patheenae ||2||3||67|| |
| Nanak has met with the Lord of the world with intuitive ease, and with Truth, he is pleased. ||2||3||67|| |

| It is a guardian posted on all four sides around me. |
|
| ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ |
| raam naam man laagaa || |
| My mind is attached to the Lord's Name. |
|
| ਜਮੁ ਲਜਾਇ ਕਰਿ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥ |
| jam lajaae kar bhaagaa ||1|| |
| The Messenger of Death has run away in shame. ||1|| |

| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੋ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ॥ |

| O Dear Lord, You are my Giver of peace. |

| ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟਿ ਕਰੇ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| The Perfect Lord, the Architect of Destiny, has shattered my bonds, and made my mind immaculately pure. ||Pause|| |

| O Nanak, God is eternal and imperishable. |

| Your slaves are in bliss; |
