| Shiva and the three hundred thirty million gods meditate on the Lord, but they do not know the secret of His mystery. ||1|| |

| ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਭ ਗਾਵਤ ਜੇਤ ਉਪਾਮ ॥ |
| sur nar gan gandhhrab jas gaavehi sabh gaavath jaeth oupaam || |
| The angelic and divine beings, and the celestial singers sing His Praises; all Creation sings of Him. |

| dhhan maaeiaa sanpai this dhaevo jin har meeth milaaeiou ||1|| |
| I offer my wealth, the riches of Maya and my property to that one who leads me to meet the Lord, my friend. ||1|| |

| khin kinchith kirapaa karee jagadheesar thab har har har jas dhhiaaeiou || |
| When the Lord of the world bestowed just a tiny bit of His Mercy, for just an instant, then I meditated on the Praise of the Lord, Har, Har, Har. |

| jae koee nindh karae har jan kee apunaa gun n gavaavai ||1|| rehaao || |
| Even if someone slanders the Lord's humble servant, he does not give up his own goodness. ||1||Pause|| |

| Whatever the Lord and Master does, He does by Himself; the Lord Himself does the deeds. |

| ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਪੰਚ ਤਤੁ ਬਿਸਥਾਰਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਧਾਤੂ ਪੰਚ ਆਪਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥ |
| har aapae panch thath bisathhaaraa vich dhhaathoo panch aap paavai || |
| The Lord Himself directs the evolution of the world of the five elements; He Himself infuses the five senses into it. |

| kott kottanthar kae paap sabh khovai har bhavajal paar outhaaraa ||1|| rehaao || |
| The Lord shall destroy all the sins of millions upon millions of incarnations, and carry you across the terrifying world-ocean. ||1||Pause|| |

| kaaeiaa nagar basath har suaamee har nirabho niravair nirankaaraa || |
| In the body-village, the Lord Master abides; the Lord is without fear, without vengeance, and without form. |

| ਹਰਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬਸਤ ਕਛੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਧਾ ਗੁਰ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ |
| har nikatt basath kashh nadhar n aavai har laadhhaa gur veechaaraa ||1|| |
| The Lord is dwelling near at hand, but He cannot be seen. By the Guru's Teachings, the Lord is obtained. ||1|| |

| The Lord Himself is the banker, the jeweller, the jewel, the gem; the Lord Himself created the entire expanse of the creation. |

| In the fiery pit of the womb, when you were hanging upside-down, the Lord absorbed You in His Love, and preserved You. |

| ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਛਡਾਵਣਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ |
| so aisaa har saevahu maerae man har anth shhaddaavanehaaraa ||1|| |
| So serve such a Lord, O my mind; the Lord shall deliver you in the end. ||1|| |

| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਸਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥ |
| jaa kai hiradhai basiaa maeraa har har this jan ko karahu namasakaaraa || |
| Bow down in reverence to that humble being, within whose heart the Lord, Har, Har, abides. |

| ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੫॥ |

| By the Lord's Kind Mercy, O Nanak, one obtains the Lord's meditation, and the support of the Naam. ||2||5|| |

| ਜੋ ਇਛਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| jo eishhehi soee fal paavehi fir dhookh n laagai aae ||1|| rehaao || |
| You shall obtain the fruits of your heart's desires, and pain shall never touch you again. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਸੋ ਜਪੁ ਸੋ ਤਪੁ ਸਾ ਬ੍ਰਤ ਪੂਜਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਇ ॥ |
| so jap so thap saa brath poojaa jith har sio preeth lagaae || |
| That is chanting, that is deep meditation and austerity, that is fasting and worship, which inspires love for the Lord. |

| ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਭ ਝੂਠੀ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਸਭ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ |
| bin har preeth hor preeth sabh jhoothee eik khin mehi bisar sabh jaae ||1|| |
| Without the Lord's Love, every other love is false; in an instant, it is all forgotten. ||1|| |

| ਤੂ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ |
| thoo baeanth sarab kal pooraa kishh keemath kehee n jaae || |
| You are infinite, the Master of all power; Your value cannot be described at all. |
