| gun gopaal prabh kae nith gaahaa || |
| Where the Glorious Praises of God, the Lord of the world are continually sung, |
|
| ਅਨਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਸੁਖ ਤਾਹਾ ॥੧॥ |
| anadh binodh mangal sukh thaahaa ||1|| |
| there is bliss, joy, happiness and peace. ||1|| |
|
| ਚਲੁ ਸਖੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਾਵਣ ਜਾਹਾ ॥ |
| chal sakheeeae prabh raavan jaahaa || |
| Come, O my companions - let us go and enjoy God. |
|
| ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਚਰਣੀ ਪਾਹਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| saadhh janaa kee charanee paahaa ||1|| rehaao || |
| Let us fall at the feet of the holy, humble beings. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਕਰਿ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਜਨ ਧੂਰਿ ਬਾਛਾਹਾ ॥ |
| kar baenathee jan dhhoor baashhaahaa || |
| I pray for the dust of the feet of the humble. |

| ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਲਾਹਾਂ ॥੨॥ |
| janam janam kae kilavikh laahaan ||2|| |
| It shall wash away the sins of countless incarnations. ||2|| |
|
| ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਜੀਉ ਅਰਪਾਹਾ ॥ |
| man than praan jeeo arapaahaa || |
| I dedicate my mind, body, breath of life and soul to God. |

| ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਮਾਨੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਕਟਾਹਾਂ ॥੩॥ |
| har simar simar maan mohu kattaahaan ||3|| |
| Remembering the Lord in meditation, I have eradicated pride and emotional attachment. ||3|| |

| ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਕਰਹੁ ਉਤਸਾਹਾ ॥ |
| dheen dhaeiaal karahu outhasaahaa || |
| O Lord, O Merciful to the meek, please give me faith and confidence, |

| The city of heaven is where the Saints dwell. |

| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਰਿਦ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਸਾ ॥੧॥ |
| prabh charan kamal ridh maahi nivaasaa ||1|| |
| They enshrine the Lotus Feet of God within their hearts. ||1|| |

| ਸੁਣਿ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਤੁਝੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਦਿਖਲਾਵਉ ॥ |
| sun man than thujh sukh dhikhalaavo || |
| Listen, O my mind and body, and let me show you the way to find peace, |

| ਹਰਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਬਿੰਜਨ ਤੁਝੁ ਭੋਗ ਭੁੰਚਾਵਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| har anik binjan thujh bhog bhunchaavo ||1|| rehaao || |
| so that you may eat and enjoy the various delicacies of the Lord||1||Pause|| |

| ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਭੁੰਚੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ |

| Taste the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, within your mind. |

| ਅਚਰਜ ਸਾਦ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਬਰਨੇ ਨ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੨॥ |
| acharaj saadh thaa kae baranae n jaahee ||2|| |
| Its taste is wondrous - it cannot be described. ||2|| |

| ਲੋਭੁ ਮੂਆ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਬੁਝਿ ਥਾਕੀ ॥ |
| lobh mooaa thrisanaa bujh thhaakee || |
| Your greed shall die, and your thirst shall be quenched. |
|
| ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਜਨ ਤਾਕੀ ॥੩॥ |
| paarabreham kee saran jan thaakee ||3|| |
| The humble beings seek the Sanctuary of the Supreme Lord God. ||3|| |
|
| ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਭੈ ਮੋਹ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥ |
| janam janam kae bhai moh nivaarae || |
| The Lord dispels the fears and attachments of countless incarnations. |
|

| God covers the many shortcomings of His slaves. |
|
| ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨਾ ਕਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ |
| kar kirapaa prabh apanaa kariaa ||1|| |
| Granting His Mercy, God makes them His own. ||1|| |
|
| ਤੁਮਹਿ ਛਡਾਇ ਲੀਓ ਜਨੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥ |
| thumehi shhaddaae leeou jan apanaa || |
| You emancipate Your humble servant, |
|
| ਉਰਝਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਜਾਲੁ ਜਗੁ ਸੁਪਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| ourajh pariou jaal jag supanaa ||1|| rehaao || |
| and rescue him from the noose of the world, which is just a dream. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਪਰਬਤ ਦੋਖ ਮਹਾ ਬਿਕਰਾਲਾ ॥ |
| parabath dhokh mehaa bikaraalaa || |
| Even huge mountains of sin and corruption |
|
| ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਦੂਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥੨॥ |
| khin mehi dhoor keeeae dhaeiaalaa ||2|| |
| are removed in an instant by the Merciful Lord. ||2|| |
|
| ਸੋਗ ਰੋਗ ਬਿਪਤਿ ਅਤਿ ਭਾਰੀ ॥ |
| sog rog bipath ath bhaaree || |
| Sorrow, disease and the most terrible calamities |
|
| ਦੂਰਿ ਭਈ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥੩॥ |
| dhoor bhee jap naam muraaree ||3|| |
| are removed by meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||3|| |
|
| ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਗਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥੪॥੨੨॥੨੮॥ |
| har charan gehae naanak saranaae ||4||22||28|| |
| Grasping the Lord's Feet, O Nanak, we enter His Sanctuary. ||4||22||28|| |

| ਦੀਨੁ ਛਡਾਇ ਦੁਨੀ ਜੋ ਲਾਏ ॥ |
| dheen shhaddaae dhunee jo laaeae || |
| One who withdraws from God's Path, and attaches himself to the world |
|
| ਦੁਹੀ ਸਰਾਈ ਖੁਨਾਮੀ ਕਹਾਏ ॥੧॥ |
| dhuhee saraaee khunaamee kehaaeae ||1|| |
| is known as a sinner in both worlds. ||1|| |
|
| ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥ |
| jo this bhaavai so paravaan || |
| He alone is approved, who pleases the Lord. |

| ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| Only He Himself knows His creative omnipotence. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਸਚਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਭਲਾ ਕਰਾਏ ॥ |
| sachaa dhharam punn bhalaa karaaeae || |
| One who practices truth, righteous living, charity and good deeds, |

| ਦੀਨ ਕੈ ਤੋਸੈ ਦੁਨੀ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥੨॥ |
| dheen kai thosai dhunee n jaaeae ||2|| |
| has the supplies for God's Path. Worldly success shall not fail him. ||2|| |
|
| ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਗੈ ॥ |
| sarab niranthar eaeko jaagai || |
| Within and among all, the One Lord is awake. |
|
| ਜਿਤੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ਤਿਤੁ ਤਿਤੁ ਕੋ ਲਾਗੈ ॥੩॥ |
| jith jith laaeiaa thith thith ko laagai ||3|| |
| As He attaches us, so are we attached. ||3|| |

| ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥ |
| agam agochar sach saahib maeraa || |
| You are inaccessible and unfathomable, O my True Lord and Master. |

| ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਬੋਲਾਇਆ ਤੇਰਾ ॥੪॥੨੩॥੨੯॥ |

| In the early hours of the morning, I chant the Lord's Name. |

| ਈਤ ਊਤ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ |
| eeth ooth kee outt savaaree ||1|| |
| I have fashioned a shelter for myself, hear and hereafter. ||1|| |
|
| ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਪੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥ |
| sadhaa sadhaa japeeai har naam || |
| Forever and ever, I chant the Lord's Name |
