| The Lord unites me with Himself; how could I feel any separation? I am a sacrifice to the Lord. |

| ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਟੇਕ ਸੋ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਜੀਵਈ ਬਲਿ ਰਾਮ ਜੀਉ ॥ |
| jis no thaeree ttaek so sadhaa sadh jeevee bal raam jeeo || |
| One who has Your Support lives forever and ever. I am a sacrifice to the Lord. |

| ਤੇਰੀ ਟੇਕ ਤੁਝੈ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ਸਾਚੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਾ ॥ |
| thaeree ttaek thujhai thae paaee saachae sirajanehaaraa || |
| I take my support from You alone, O True Creator Lord. |

| ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹੀ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥ |
| jis thae khaalee koee naahee aisaa prabhoo hamaaraa || |
| No one lacks this Support; such is my God. |

| ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਆਸ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੀ ॥ |
| santh janaa mil mangal gaaeiaa dhin rain aas thumhaaree || |
| Meeting with the humble Saints, I sing the songs of joy; day and night, I place my hopes in You. |

| ਸਫਲੁ ਦਰਸੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥੨॥ |
| safal dharas bhaettiaa gur pooraa naanak sadh balihaaree ||2|| |
| I have obtained the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of the Perfect Guru. Nanak is forever a sacrifice. ||2|| |

| sanmhaliaa sach thhaan maan mehath sach paaeiaa bal raam jeeo || |
| Contemplating, dwelling upon the Lord's true home, I receive honor, greatness and truth. I am a sacrifice to the Lord. |

| sathigur miliaa dhaeiaal gun abinaasee gaaeiaa bal raam jeeo || |
| Meeting the Merciful True Guru, I sing the Praises of the Imperishable Lord. I am a sacrifice to the Lord. |

| ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗਾਉ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੁਆਮੀਆ ॥ |
| gun govindh gaao nith nith praan preetham suaameeaa || |
| Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, continually, continuously; He is the Beloved Master of the breath of life. |

| ਸੁਭ ਦਿਵਸ ਆਏ ਗਹਿ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਏ ਮਿਲੇ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀਆ ॥ |
| subh dhivas aaeae gehi kanth laaeae milae antharajaameeaa || |
| Good times have come; the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, has met me, and hugged me close in His Embrace. |

| ਸਤੁ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਵਜਹਿ ਵਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦਾ ਝੁਣਕਾਰੇ ॥ |
| sath santhokh vajehi vaajae anehadhaa jhunakaarae || |
| The musical instruments of truth and contentment vibrate, and the unstruck melody of the sound current resounds. |
|
| ਸੁਣਿ ਭੈ ਬਿਨਾਸੇ ਸਗਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੇ ॥੩॥ |
| sun bhai binaasae sagal naanak prabh purakh karanaihaarae ||3|| |
| Hearing this, all my fears have been dispelled; O Nanak, God is the Primal Being, the Creator Lord. ||3|| |

| ਉਪਜਿਆ ਤਤੁ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਸਾਹੁਰੈ ਪੇਈਐ ਇਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਲਿ ਰਾਮ ਜੀਉ ॥ |
| oupajiaa thath giaan saahurai paeeeai eik har bal raam jeeo || |
| The essence of spiritual wisdom has welled up; in this world, and the next, the One Lord is pervading. I am a sacrifice to the Lord. |

| ਬ੍ਰਹਮੈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਭਿੰਨ ਕਰਿ ਬਲਿ ਰਾਮ ਜੀਉ ॥ |
| brehamai breham miliaa koe n saakai bhinn kar bal raam jeeo || |
| When God meets the God within the self, no one can separate them. I am a sacrifice to the Lord. |

| ਬਿਸਮੁ ਪੇਖੈ ਬਿਸਮੁ ਸੁਣੀਐ ਬਿਸਮਾਦੁ ਨਦਰੀ ਆਇਆ ॥ |
| bisam paekhai bisam suneeai bisamaadh nadharee aaeiaa || |
| I gaze upon the Wondrous Lord, and listen to the Wondrous Lord; the Wondrous Lord has come into my vision. |

| ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ |
| jal thhal meheeal pooran suaamee ghatt ghatt rehiaa samaaeiaa || |
| The Perfect Lord and Master is pervading the water, the land and the sky, in each and every heart. |
|
| ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥ |
| jis thae oupajiaa this maahi samaaeiaa keemath kehan n jaaeae || |
| I have merged again into the One from whom I originated. The value of this cannot be described. |

| ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਚਲਤ ਨ ਜਾਹੀ ਲਖਣੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਏ ॥੪॥੨॥ |

| I am awake, night and day, in the Lord's Love. |

| ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਜਾਗੇ ਪਾਪ ਭਾਗੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ॥ |
| har rang jaagae paap bhaagae milae santh piaariaa || |
| Awake to the Lord's Love, my sins have left me. I meet with the Beloved Saints. |

| ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣ ਲਾਗੇ ਭਰਮ ਭਾਗੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਗਲ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥ |
| gur charan laagae bharam bhaagae kaaj sagal savaariaa || |
| Attached to the Guru's Feet, my doubts are dispelled, and all my affairs are resolved. |

| ਸੁਣਿ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਹਜਿ ਜਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਵਡਭਾਗੈ ॥ |
| sun sravan baanee sehaj jaanee har naam jap vaddabhaagai || |
| Listening to the Word of the Guru's Bani with my ears, I know celestial peace. By great good fortune, I meditate on the Lord's Name. |

| ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਗੈ ॥੧॥ |

| Prays Nanak, I have entered my Lord and Master's Sanctuary. I dedicate my body and soul to God. ||1|| |

| The unstruck melody of the Shabad, the Word of God is so very beautiful. |

| True joy comes from singing the Lord's Praises. |

| ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਨਾਸੇ ਰਹਸੁ ਉਪਜੈ ਮਨਿ ਘਣਾ ॥ |
| gun gaae har har dhookh naasae rehas oupajai man ghanaa || |
| Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, pain is dispelled, and my mind is filled with tremendous joy. |

| ਹੋਇ ਰੇਣ ਸਾਧੂ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਰਾਧੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਾ ॥ |
| hoe raen saadhhoo prabh araadhhoo aapanae prabh bhaavaa || |
| I am the dust of the feet of the Holy. Worshipping God in adoration, my God is pleased with me. |

| ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਇਆ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ॥੨॥ |

| Meeting with the Guru, I cross over the world-ocean. |

| Meditating on the Lord's Feet, I am emancipated. |
|
| ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਧਿਆਏ ਸਭਿ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਮਿਟੇ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ॥ |
| har charan dhhiaaeae sabh fal paaeae mittae aavan jaanaa || |
| Meditating on the Lord's Feet, I have obtained the fruits of all rewards, and my comings and goings have ceased. |
|
| ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਾ ॥ |
| bhaae bhagath subhaae har jap aapanae prabh bhaavaa || |
| With loving devotional worship, I meditate intuitively on the Lord, and my God is pleased. |

| ਜਪਿ ਏਕੁ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥ |

| Meditate on the One, Unseen, Infinite, Perfect Lord; there is no other than Him. |

| ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਿ ਭਰਮੁ ਖੋਇਆ ਜਤ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਤ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥ |
| binavanth naanak gur bharam khoeiaa jath dhaekhaa thath soee ||3|| |
| Prays Nanak, the Guru has erased my doubts; wherever I look, there I see Him. ||3|| |

| The Lord's Name is the Purifier of sinners. |

| It resolves the affairs of the humble Saints. |

| ਗੁਰੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਸਗਲ ਇਛਾ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ॥ |

| I have found the Saintly Guru, meditating on God. All my desires have been fulfilled. |

| ਹਉ ਤਾਪ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਰਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲੇ ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨਿਆ ॥ |
| ho thaap binasae sadhaa sarasae prabh milae chiree vishhunniaa || |
| The fever of egotism has been dispelled, and I am always happy. I have met God, from whom I was separated for so long. |

| ਮਨਿ ਸਾਤਿ ਆਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਮਨਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ॥ |
| man saath aaee vajee vadhhaaee manahu kadhae n veesarai || |
| My mind has found peace and tranquility; congratulations are pouring in. I shall never forget Him from my mind. |

| ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਭਜੁ ਜਗਦੀਸਰੈ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥ |

| You are the ocean, the source of jewels; I do not know Your value, Lord. |

| ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਤੂ ਵਡ ਦਾਣਾ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਹਰੰਮਤਿ ਸਾਂਈ ॥ |
| saar n jaanaa thoo vadd dhaanaa kar miharanmath saanee || |
| I do not know Your value; You are the wisest of all; please show Mercy unto me, O Lord. |

| ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ਸਾ ਮਤਿ ਦੀਜੈ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥ |
| kirapaa keejai saa math dheejai aath pehar thudhh dhhiaaee || |
| Show Your Mercy, and bless me with such understanding, that I may meditate on You, twenty-four hours a day. |
