| dharasan paekhath hoe nihaal || |
| Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, I am enraptured. |

| ਜਾ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਕਾਟੈ ਜਮ ਜਾਲੁ ॥ |
| jaa kee dhhoor kaattai jam jaal || |
| The dust of His feet snaps the noose of Death. |
|
| ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਬਸੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਕੇ ॥ |
| charan kamal basae maerae man kae || |
| His lotus feet dwell within my mind, |
|
| ਕਾਰਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਸਗਲੇ ਤਨ ਕੇ ॥੧॥ |
| kaaraj savaarae sagalae than kae ||1|| |
| and so all the affairs of my body are arranged and resolved. ||1|| |
|
| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਹਾਥੁ ॥ |
| jaa kai masathak raakhai haathh || |
| One upon whom He places His Hand, is protected. |
|
| ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰੋ ਅਨਾਥ ਕੋ ਨਾਥੁ ॥ |
| prabh maero anaathh ko naathh || |
| My God is the Master of the masterless. |
|
| ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਣੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥ |
| pathith oudhhaaran kirapaa nidhhaan || |
| He is the Savior of sinners, the treasure of mercy. |
|
| ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਾਈਐ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ॥੨॥ |
| sadhaa sadhaa jaaeeai kurabaan ||2|| |
| Forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to Him. ||2|| |
|
| ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤੁ ਦੇਇ ਜਿਸੁ ਦਾਨੁ ॥ |
| niramal manth dhaee jis dhaan || |
| One whom He blesses with His Immaculate Mantra, |
|
| ਤਜਹਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥ |
| thajehi bikaar binasai abhimaan || |
| renounces corruption; his egotistical pride is dispelled. |
|
| ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥ |
| eaek dhhiaaeeai saadhh kai sang || |
| Meditate on the One Lord in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. |
|
| ਪਾਪ ਬਿਨਾਸੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥੩॥ |
| paap binaasae naam kai rang ||3|| |
| Sins are erased, through the love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||3|| |
|
| ਗੁਰ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਸਗਲ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥ |
| gur paramaesur sagal nivaas || |
| The Guru, the Transcendent Lord, dwells among all. |
|
| ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਗੁਣਤਾਸ ॥ |
| ghatt ghatt rav rehiaa gunathaas || |
| The treasure of virtue pervades and permeates each and every heart. |
|

| Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, one is enlightened, |

| In the Society of the Saints, one is saved. |

| Worship and adore that One Lord alone. |

| In His Sanctuary, eternal peace is obtained. ||1|| |

| One who feels hunger for the Naam sleeps in peace. |

| ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸਭ ਦੂਖ ॥੨॥ |
| har simarath binasae sabh dhookh ||2|| |
| Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, all pains are dispelled. ||2|| |

| ਸਹਜਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥ |
| sehaj anandh karahu maerae bhaaee || |
| Enjoy celestial bliss, O my Siblings of Destiny. |

| The Perfect Guru has eradicated all anxiety. ||3|| |

| roop rang sugandhh bhog thiaag chalae maaeiaa shhalae kanik kaaminee ||1|| rehaao || |
| You must abandon your beauty, pleasures, fragrances and enjoyments; beguiled by gold and sexual desire, you must still leave Maya behind. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਭੰਡਾਰ ਦਰਬ ਅਰਬ ਖਰਬ ਪੇਖਿ ਲੀਲਾ ਮਨੁ ਸਧਾਰੈ ॥ |
| bhanddaar dharab arab kharab paekh leelaa man sadhhaarai || |
| You gaze upon billions and trillions of treasures and riches, which delight and comfort your mind, |

| ਨਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਗਾਮਨੀ ॥੧॥ |
| neh sang gaamanee ||1|| |
| but these will not go along with you. ||1|| |
|
| ਸੁਤ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਮੀਤ ਉਰਝਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਭਰਮਿ ਮੋਹਿਓ ਇਹ ਬਿਰਖ ਛਾਮਨੀ ॥ |
| suth kalathr bhraath meeth ourajh pariou bharam mohiou eih birakh shhaamanee || |
| Entangled with children, spouse, siblings and friends, you are enticed and fooled; these pass like the shadow of a tree. |
