| The Will of the Saints is sweet to my mind. |

| ਮੇਰਾ ਕਮਲੁ ਬਿਗਸੈ ਸੰਤ ਡੀਠ ॥੨॥ |
| maeraa kamal bigasai santh ddeeth ||2|| |
| Seeing the Saints, my heart-lotus blossoms forth. ||2|| |
|
| ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥ |
| santhasang maeraa hoe nivaas || |
| I dwell in the Society of the Saints. |
|
| ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਪਿਆਸ ॥ |
| santhan kee mohi bahuth piaas || |
| I have such a great thirst for the Saints. |
|
| ਸੰਤ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨਹਿ ਮੰਤ ॥ |
| santh bachan maerae manehi manth || |
| The Words of the Saints are the Mantras of my mind. |
|
| ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਹੰਤ ॥੩॥ |
| santh prasaadh maerae bikhai hanth ||3|| |
| By the Grace of the Saints, my corruption is taken away. ||3|| |
|
| ਮੁਕਤਿ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਏਹਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥ |
| mukath jugath eaehaa nidhhaan || |
| This way of liberation is my treasure. |
|
| ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਇਆਲ ਮੋਹਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਦਾਨ ॥ |
| prabh dhaeiaal mohi dhaevahu dhaan || |
| O Merciful God, please bless me with this gift. |
|
| ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਇਆ ਧਾਰਿ ॥ |
| naanak ko prabh dhaeiaa dhhaar || |
| O God, shower Your Mercy upon Nanak. |

| He is with all; He is not far away. |

| ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਹਾਜਰਾ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| He is the Cause of causes, ever-present here and now. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਸੁਨਤ ਜੀਓ ਜਾਸੁ ਨਾਮੁ ॥ |
| sunath jeeou jaas naam || |
| Hearing His Name, one comes to life. |
|
| ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੁਖ ਕੀਓ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥ |
| dhukh binasae sukh keeou bisraam || |
| Pain is dispelled; peace and tranquility come to dwell within. |
|
| ਸਗਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ॥ |
| sagal nidhh har har harae || |
| The Lord, Har, Har, is all treasure. |
|
| ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਰੇ ॥੧॥ |
| mun jan thaa kee saev karae ||1|| |
| The silent sages serve Him. ||1|| |
|
| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥ |
| jaa kai ghar sagalae samaahi || |
| Everything is contained in His home. |
|
| ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਇ ਨਾਹਿ ॥ |
| jis thae birathhaa koe naahi || |
| No one is turned away empty-handed. |
|
| ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥ |
| jeea janthr karae prathipaal || |
| He cherishes all beings and creatures. |
|
| ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥੨॥ |
| sadhaa sadhaa saevahu kirapaal ||2|| |
| Forever and ever, serve the Merciful Lord. ||2|| |
|
| ਸਦਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਦੀਬਾਣਿ ॥ |
| sadhaa dhharam jaa kai dheebaan || |
| Righteous justice is dispensed in His Court forever. |
|
| ਬੇਮੁਹਤਾਜ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਾਣਿ ॥ |
| baemuhathaaj nehee kishh kaan || |
| He is carefree, and owes allegiance to no one. |
|
| ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਨਾ ਆਪਨ ਆਪਿ ॥ |
| sabh kishh karanaa aapan aap || |
| He Himself, by Himself, does everything. |
|
| ਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਜਾਪਿ ॥੩॥ |
| rae man maerae thoo thaa ko jaap ||3|| |
| O my mind, meditate on Him. ||3|| |
|
| ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥ |
| saadhhasangath ko ho balihaar || |
| I am a sacrifice to the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. |
|
| ਜਾਸੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥ |
| jaas mil hovai oudhhaar || |
| Joining them, I am saved. |
|
| ਨਾਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਨ ਤਨਹਿ ਰਾਤ ॥ |
| naam sang man thanehi raath || |
| My mind and body are attuned to the Naam, the Name of the Lord. |
|
| ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਰੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥੪॥੫॥ |

| God has blessed Nanak with this gift. ||4||5|| |

| I seek the Sanctuary of the all-powerful Lord. |

| ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਧਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਏਕ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| jeeo pindd dhhan raas maeree prabh eaek kaaran karanaa ||1|| rehaao || |
| My soul, body, wealth and capital belong to the One God, the Cause of causes. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਜੀਵਣੈ ਕਾ ਮੂਲੁ ॥ |
| simar simar sadhaa sukh paaeeai jeevanai kaa mool || |
| Meditating, meditating in remembrance on Him, I have found everlasting peace. He is the source of life. |

| ਆਲ ਜਾਲ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਤਜਿ ਸਭਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨਾ ਨਿਤਿ ਗਾਉ ॥ |
| aal jaal bikaar thaj sabh har gunaa nith gaao || |
| Abandon all your entanglements and corruption; sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord forever. |

| ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਦੇਹੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥੧॥੬॥ |
| kar jorr naanak dhaan maangai dhaehu apanaa naao ||2||1||6|| |
| With palms pressed together, Nanak begs for this blessing; please bless me with Your Name. ||2||1||6|| |

| koun jaanai chalith thaerae kishh anth naahee paar ||1|| rehaao || |
| Who knows Your wondrous plays? You have no end or limitation. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਇਕ ਖਿਨਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਦਾ ਘੜਿ ਭੰਨਿ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੁ ॥ |
| eik khinehi thhaap outhhaapadhaa gharr bhann karanaihaar || |
| In an instant, You establish and disestablish; You create and destroy, O Creator Lord. |

| ਜੇਤ ਕੀਨ ਉਪਾਰਜਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਇ ਦਾਤਾਰ ॥੧॥ |
| jaeth keen oupaarajanaa prabh dhaan dhaee dhaathaar ||1|| |
| As many beings as You created, God, so many You bless with Your blessings. ||1|| |

| ਹਰਿ ਸਰਨਿ ਆਇਓ ਦਾਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਊਚ ਅਗਮ ਮੁਰਾਰ ॥ |
| har saran aaeiou dhaas thaeraa prabh ooch agam muraar || |
| I have come to Your Sanctuary, Lord; I am Your slave, O Inaccessible Lord God. |

| ਕਢਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਭਉਜਲ ਬਿਖਮ ਤੇ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥੨॥੨॥੭॥ |
| kadt laehu bhoujal bikham thae jan naanak sadh balihaar ||2||2||7|| |
| Lift me up and pull me out of the terrifying, treacherous world-ocean; servant Nanak is forever a sacrifice to You. ||2||2||7|| |

| ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤੇ ਮਧਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥ |
| aadh anthae madhh thoohai prabh binaa naahee koe || |
| In the beginning, in the end and in the middle, You alone exist, God; there is none other than You. |

| ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਗਲ ਮੰਡਲ ਏਕੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ |
| poor rehiaa sagal manddal eaek suaamee soe ||1|| |
| He is totally permeating and pervading all worlds; He is the One and only Lord and Master. ||1|| |

| ਕਰਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਰਸਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥ |
| karan har jas naethr dharasan rasan har gun gaao || |
| With my ears I hear God's Praises, and with my eyes I behold the Blessed Vision of His Darshan; with my tongue I sing the Lord's Glorious Praises. |
