| My flower-offering and worship is to realize that the Lord is dwelling alike in all; I shall not be reincarnated naked again. ||5|| |

| ਦਾਸ ਦਾਸਨ ਕੋ ਕਰਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਗਪਾਲਾ ॥ |
| dhaas dhaasan ko kar laehu guopaalaa || |
| Please make me the slave of Your slaves, O Lord of the world. |

| ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥ |
| kirapaa nidhhaan dheen dhaeiaalaa || |
| You are the treasure of Grace, merciful to the meek. |

| ਸਖਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਮਿਲੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਹੋਵੀ ਭੰਗਨਾ ॥੬॥ |
| sakhaa sehaaee pooran paramaesur mil kadhae n hovee bhanganaa ||6|| |
| Meet with your companion and helper, the Perfect Transcendent Lord God; you shall never be separated from Him again. ||6|| |

| ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਧਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਗੈ ॥ |
| man than arap dhharee har aagai || |
| I dedicate my mind and body, and place them in offering before the Lord. |

| ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਸੋਇਆ ਜਾਗੈ ॥ |
| janam janam kaa soeiaa jaagai || |
| Asleep for countless lifetimes, I have awakened. |
 |
| ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਸਾ ਸੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕੁ ਹਤਿ ਤਿਆਗੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਹੰਤਨਾ ॥੭॥ |
| jis kaa saa soee prathipaalak hath thiaagee houmai hanthanaa ||7|| |
| He, to whom I belong, is my cherisher and nurturer. I have killed and discarded my murderous self-conceit. ||7|| |

| ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥ |
| jal thhal pooran antharajaamee || |
| The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is pervading the water and the land. |

| ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਅਛਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥ |
| ghatt ghatt raviaa ashhal suaamee || |
| The undeceivable Lord and Master is permeating each and every heart. |
 |
| ਭਰਮ ਭੀਤਿ ਖੋਈ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਏਕੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਸਰਬੰਗਨਾ ॥੮॥ |
| bharam bheeth khoee gur poorai eaek raviaa sarabanganaa ||8|| |
| The Perfect Guru has demolished the wall of doubt, and now I see the One Lord pervading everywhere. ||8|| |

| ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ॥ |
| jath kath paekho prabh sukh saagar || |
| Wherever I look, there I see God, the ocean of peace. |
 |
| ਹਰਿ ਤੋਟਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਰਤਨਾਗਰ ॥ |
| har thott bhanddaar naahee rathanaagar || |
| The Lord's treasure is never exhausted; He is the storehouse of jewels. |
 |
| ਅਗਹ ਅਗਾਹ ਕਿਛੁ ਮਿਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਸੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਕਿਰਪੰਗਨਾ ॥੯॥ |
| ageh agaah kishh mith nehee paaeeai so boojhai jis kirapanganaa ||9|| |
| He cannot be seized; He is inaccessible, and His limits cannot be found. He is realized when the Lord bestows His Grace. ||9|| |

| ਛਾਤੀ ਸੀਤਲ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਠੰਢਾ ॥ |
| shhaathee seethal man than thandtaa || |
| My heart is cooled, and my mind and body are calmed and soothed. |
 |
| ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੀ ਮਿਟਵੀ ਡੰਝਾ ॥ |
| janam maran kee mittavee ddanjhaa || |
| The craving for birth and death is quenched. |
 |
| ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਲੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਅਮਿਓ ਧਾਰਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੰਗਨਾ ॥੧੦॥ |
| kar gehi kaadt leeeae prabh apunai amiou dhhaar dhrisattanganaa ||10|| |
| Grasping hold of my hand, He has lifted me up and out; He has blessed me with His Ambrosial Glance of Grace. ||10|| |

| ਏਕੋ ਏਕੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਸਭ ਠਾਈ ॥ |
| eaeko eaek raviaa sabh thaaee || |
| The One and Only Lord is permeating and pervading everywhere. |

| ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ |
| this bin dhoojaa koee naahee || |
| There is none other than Him at all. |

| ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਬੁਝੀ ਭਰਮੰਗਨਾ ॥੧੧॥ |
| aadh madhh anth prabh raviaa thrisan bujhee bharamanganaa ||11|| |
| God permeates the beginning, the middle and the end; He has subdued my desires and doubts. ||11|| |

| ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ॥ |

| The Guru is the Transcendent Lord, the Guru is the Lord of the Universe. |

| ਗੁਰੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਦ ਬਖਸੰਦੁ ॥ |

| The Guru is the Creator, the Guru is forever forgiving. |

| ਗੁਰ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਿ ਜਪਤ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀਪਕੁ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗਨਾ ॥੧੨॥ |
| gur jap jaap japath fal paaeiaa giaan dheepak santh sanganaa ||12|| |
| Meditating, chanting the Guru's Chant, I have obtained the fruits and rewards; in the Company of the Saints, I have been blessed with the lamp of spiritual wisdom. ||12|| |

| ਜੋ ਪੇਖਾ ਸੋ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥ |
| jo paekhaa so sabh kishh suaamee || |
| Whatever I see, is my Lord and Master God. |

| ਜੋ ਸੁਨਣਾ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਬਾਨੀ ॥ |
| jo sunanaa so prabh kee baanee || |
| Whatever I hear, is the Bani of God's Word. |

| ਜੋ ਕੀਨੋ ਸੋ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਕਰਾਇਓ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਸੰਤਹ ਤਨਾ ॥੧੩॥ |
| jo keeno so thumehi karaaeiou saran sehaaee santheh thanaa ||13|| |
| Whatever I do, You make me do; You are the Sanctuary, the help and support of the Saints, Your children. ||13|| |

| ਜਾਚਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਅਰਾਧੈ ॥ |
| jaachak jaachai thumehi araadhhai || |
| The beggar begs, and worships You in adoration. |

| ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਾਧੈ ॥ |
| pathith paavan pooran prabh saadhhai || |
| You are the Purifier of the sinners, O Perfectly Holy Lord God. |

| ਕਾਇਆ ਪਾਤ੍ਰੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰਾ ॥ |
| kaaeiaa paathra prabh karanaihaaraa || |
| God is the Creator of the body-vessel. |

| ਲਗੀ ਲਾਗਿ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗਾਰਾ ॥ |

| In the Society of the Saints, the dye is produced. |

| ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਇ ਬਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਮਨੁ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਜੀਠੈ ਰੰਗਨਾ ॥੧੫॥ |
| niramal soe banee har baanee man naam majeethai ranganaa ||15|| |
| Through the Word of the Lord's Bani, one's reputation becomes immaculate, and the mind is colored by the dye of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||15|| |

| ਸੋਲਹ ਕਲਾ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਫਲਿਆ ॥ |

| The sixteen powers, absolute perfection and fruitful rewards are obtained, |

| when the Lord and Master of infinite power is revealed. |

| When You sent me, I came into the world. |

| ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਣਾ ਸੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਏ ॥ |
| jo thudhh bhaanaa sae karam kamaaeae || |
| Whatever is pleasing to Your Will, I do. |

| ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਹੋਆ ਤਾ ਭੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਾੜਾ ॥੨॥ |
| thujh thae baahar kishhoo n hoaa thaa bhee naahee kishh kaarraa ||2|| |
| Without You, nothing is done, so I am not anxious at all. ||2|| |

| In the world hereafter, the Hukam of Your Command is heard. |

| In this world, I chant Your Praises, Lord. |

| You Yourself write the account, and You Yourself erase it; no one can argue with You. ||3|| |

| ਤੂ ਪਿਤਾ ਸਭਿ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਥਾਰੇ ॥ |
| thoo pithaa sabh baarik thhaarae || |
| You are our father; we are all Your children. |

| ਜਿਉ ਖੇਲਾਵਹਿ ਤਿਉ ਖੇਲਣਹਾਰੇ ॥ |
| jio khaelaavehi thio khaelanehaarae || |
| We play as You cause us to play. |
 |
| ਉਝੜ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਕੀਨਾ ਚਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਵੇਪਾੜਾ ॥੪॥ |
| oujharr maarag sabh thum hee keenaa chalai naahee ko vaepaarraa ||4|| |
| The wilderness and the path are all made by You. No one can take the wrong path. ||4|| |

| ਇਕਿ ਬੈਸਾਇ ਰਖੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਅੰਤਰਿ ॥ |
| eik baisaae rakhae grih anthar || |
| Some remain seated within their homes. |
 |
| ਇਕਿ ਪਠਾਏ ਦੇਸ ਦਿਸੰਤਰਿ ॥ |
| eik pathaaeae dhaes dhisanthar || |
| Some wander across the country and through foreign lands. |
 |
| ਇਕ ਹੀ ਕਉ ਘਾਸੁ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਕਉ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਨ ਮਹਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਕਿਆ ਕੂੜਾ ॥੫॥ |
| eik hee ko ghaas eik hee ko raajaa ein mehi keheeai kiaa koorraa ||5|| |
| Some are grass-cutters, and some are kings. Who among these can be called false? ||5|| |
