| khaalik khalak khalak mehi khaalik poor rehiou srab thaanee ||1|| rehaao || |
| The Creation is in the Creator, and the Creator is in the Creation, totally pervading and permeating all places. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਮਾਟੀ ਏਕ ਅਨੇਕ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਜੀ ਸਾਜਨਹਾਰੈ ॥ |
| maattee eaek anaek bhaanth kar saajee saajanehaarai || |
| The clay is the same, but the Fashioner has fashioned it in various ways. |

| ਨਾ ਕਛੁ ਪੋਚ ਮਾਟੀ ਕੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਨਾ ਕਛੁ ਪੋਚ ਕੁੰਭਾਰੈ ॥੨॥ |
| naa kashh poch maattee kae bhaanddae naa kashh poch kunbhaarai ||2|| |
| There is nothing wrong with the pot of clay - there is nothing wrong with the Potter. ||2|| |
|
| ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਸਚਾ ਏਕੋ ਸੋਈ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਭੁ ਕਛੁ ਹੋਈ ॥ |
| sabh mehi sachaa eaeko soee this kaa keeaa sabh kashh hoee || |
| The One True Lord abides in all; by His making, everything is made. |

| ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਨੈ ਸੁ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਨੈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਹੀਐ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥ |
| hukam pashhaanai s eaeko jaanai bandhaa keheeai soee ||3|| |
| Whoever realizes the Hukam of His Command, knows the One Lord. He alone is said to be the Lord's slave. ||3|| |

| ਅਲਹੁ ਅਲਖੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਲਖਿਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਗੁੜੁ ਦੀਨਾ ਮੀਠਾ ॥ |
| alahu alakh n jaaee lakhiaa gur gurr dheenaa meethaa || |
| The Lord Allah is Unseen; He cannot be seen. The Guru has blessed me with this sweet molasses. |

| ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੰਕਾ ਨਾਸੀ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੪॥੩॥ |
| kehi kabeer maeree sankaa naasee sarab niranjan ddeethaa ||4||3|| |
| Says Kabeer, my anxiety and fear have been taken away; I see the Immaculate Lord pervading everywhere. ||4||3|| |

| baedh kathaeb kehahu math jhoothae jhoothaa jo n bichaarai || |
| Do not say that the Vedas, the Bible and the Koran are false. Those who do not contemplate them are false. |

| ਜਉ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਖੁਦਾਇ ਕਹਤ ਹਉ ਤਉ ਕਿਉ ਮੁਰਗੀ ਮਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ |
| jo sabh mehi eaek khudhaae kehath ho tho kio muragee maarai ||1|| |
| You say that the One Lord is in all, so why do you kill chickens? ||1|| |
|
| ਮੁਲਾਂ ਕਹਹੁ ਨਿਆਉ ਖੁਦਾਈ ॥ |
| mulaan kehahu niaao khudhaaee || |
| O Mullah, tell me: is this God's Justice? |
|
| ਤੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਕਾ ਭਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |

| The doubts of your mind have not been dispelled. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਪਕਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਨਿਆ ਦੇਹ ਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਮਾਟੀ ਕਉ ਬਿਸਮਿਲਿ ਕੀਆ ॥ |
| pakar jeeo aaniaa dhaeh binaasee maattee ko bisamil keeaa || |
| You seize a living creature, and then bring it home and kill its body; you have killed only the clay. |

| ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਨਾਹਤ ਲਾਗੀ ਕਹੁ ਹਲਾਲੁ ਕਿਆ ਕੀਆ ॥੨॥ |
| joth saroop anaahath laagee kahu halaal kiaa keeaa ||2|| |
| The light of the soul passes into another form. So tell me, what have you killed? ||2|| |

| ਕਿਆ ਉਜੂ ਪਾਕੁ ਕੀਆ ਮੁਹੁ ਧੋਇਆ ਕਿਆ ਮਸੀਤਿ ਸਿਰੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ |
| kiaa oujoo paak keeaa muhu dhhoeiaa kiaa maseeth sir laaeiaa || |
| And what good are your purifications? Why do you bother to wash your face? And why do you bother to bow your head in the mosque? |

| ਜਉ ਦਿਲ ਮਹਿ ਕਪਟੁ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਗੁਜਾਰਹੁ ਕਿਆ ਹਜ ਕਾਬੈ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੩॥ |
| jo dhil mehi kapatt nivaaj gujaarahu kiaa haj kaabai jaaeiaa ||3|| |
| Your heart is full of hypocrisy; what good are your prayers or your pilgrimage to Mecca? ||3|| |
|
| ਤੂੰ ਨਾਪਾਕੁ ਪਾਕੁ ਨਹੀ ਸੂਝਿਆ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਮਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥ |
| thoon naapaak paak nehee soojhiaa this kaa maram n jaaniaa || |
| You are impure; you do not understand the Pure Lord. You do not know His Mystery. |

| ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਭਿਸਤਿ ਤੇ ਚੂਕਾ ਦੋਜਕ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥੪॥੪॥ |
| kehi kabeer bhisath thae chookaa dhojak sio man maaniaa ||4||4|| |
| Says Kabeer, you have missed out on paradise; your mind is set on hell. ||4||4|| |

| Hear my prayer, Lord; You are the Divine Light of the Divine, the Primal, All-pervading Master. |

| ਸਿਧ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਲਾਗਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਰਨਾਈ ॥੧॥ |
| sidhh samaadhh anth nehee paaeiaa laag rehae saranaaee ||1|| |
| The Siddhas in Samaadhi have not found Your limits. They hold tight to the Protection of Your Sanctuary. ||1|| |

| ਲੇਹੁ ਆਰਤੀ ਹੋ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੂਜਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥ |

| Worship and adoration of the Pure, Primal Lord comes by worshipping the True Guru, O Siblings of Destiny. |

| ਠਾਢਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨਿਗਮ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ਅਲਖੁ ਨ ਲਖਿਆ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ |
| thaadtaa brehamaa nigam beechaarai alakh n lakhiaa jaaee ||1|| rehaao || |
| Standing at His Door, Brahma studies the Vedas, but he cannot see the Unseen Lord. ||1||Pause|| |

| ਤਤੁ ਤੇਲੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਕੀਆ ਬਾਤੀ ਦੀਪਕੁ ਦੇਹ ਉਜ੍ਯ੍ਯਾਰਾ ॥ |
| thath thael naam keeaa baathee dheepak dhaeh oujyaaraa || |
| With the oil of knowledge about the essence of reality, and the wick of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, this lamp illluminates my body. |

| ਜੋਤਿ ਲਾਇ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਜਗਾਇਆ ਬੂਝੈ ਬੂਝਨਹਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ |
| joth laae jagadhees jagaaeiaa boojhai boojhanehaaraa ||2|| |
| I have applied the Light of the Lord of the Universe, and lit this lamp. God the Knower knows. ||2|| |

| panchae sabadh anaahadh baajae sangae saaringapaanee || |
| The Unstruck Melody of the Panch Shabad, the Five Primal Sounds, vibrates and resounds. I dwell with the Lord of the World. |

| The mind alone knows the state of the mind; I tell it to the Knowing Lord. |

| ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵਾਂਈ ਮੈ ਡਰੁ ਕੈਸੇ ਚਹੀਐ ॥੧॥ |
| antharajaamee raam ravaanee mai ddar kaisae cheheeai ||1|| |
| I chant the Name of the Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts - why should I be afraid? ||1|| |

| My mind is pierced through by the love of the Lord of the World. |

| The mind is the shop, the mind is the town, and the mind is the shopkeeper. |

| The mind abides in various forms, wandering all across the world. ||2|| |

| ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਏਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥ |
| gur kai sabadh eaehu man raathaa dhubidhhaa sehaj samaanee || |
| This mind is imbued with the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and duality is easily overcome. |
