| ਆਪ ਡੁਬੇ ਚਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਮਹਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਦੀਏ ਬਹਾਇ ॥੧੦੪॥ |
| aap ddubae chahu baedh mehi chaelae dheeeae behaae ||104|| |
| He himself is drowning in the four Vedas; he drowns his disciples as well. ||104|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਜੇਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਏ ਰਾਖੇ ਤਲੈ ਦੁਰਾਇ ॥ |
| kabeer jaethae paap keeeae raakhae thalai dhuraae || |
| Kabeer, whatever sins the mortal has committed, he tries to keep hidden under cover. |

| ਪਰਗਟ ਭਏ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਸਭ ਜਬ ਪੂਛੇ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੦੫॥ |
| paragatt bheae nidhaan sabh jab pooshhae dhharam raae ||105|| |
| But in the end, they shall all be revealed, when the Righteous Judge of Dharma investigates. ||105|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਪਾਲਿਓ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ॥ |
| kabeer har kaa simaran shhaadd kai paaliou bahuth kuttanb || |
| Kabeer, you have given up meditating on the Lord, and you have raised a large family. |

| ਧੰਧਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਇਆ ਭਾਈ ਰਹਿਆ ਨ ਬੰਧੁ ॥੧੦੬॥ |
| dhhandhhaa karathaa rehi gaeiaa bhaaee rehiaa n bandhh ||106|| |
| You continue to involve yourself in worldly affairs, but none of your brothers and relatives remain. ||106|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਰਾਤਿ ਜਗਾਵਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ |
| kabeer har kaa simaran shhaadd kai raath jagaavan jaae || |
| Kabeer, those who give up meditation on the Lord, and get up at night to wake the spirits of the dead, |

| ਸਰਪਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਅਉਤਰੈ ਜਾਏ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਖਾਇ ॥੧੦੭॥ |
| sarapan hoe kai aoutharai jaaeae apunae khaae ||107|| |
| shall be reincarnated as snakes, and eat their own offspring. ||107|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਅਹੋਈ ਰਾਖੈ ਨਾਰਿ ॥ |
| kabeer har kaa simaran shhaadd kai ahoee raakhai naar || |
| Kabeer, the woman who gives up meditation on the Lord, and observes the ritual fast of Ahoi, |

| ਗਦਹੀ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਅਉਤਰੈ ਭਾਰੁ ਸਹੈ ਮਨ ਚਾਰਿ ॥੧੦੮॥ |
| gadhehee hoe kai aoutharai bhaar sehai man chaar ||108|| |
| shall be reincarnated as a donkey, to carry heavy burdens. ||108|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਅਤਿ ਘਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ |
| kabeer chathuraaee ath ghanee har jap hiradhai maahi || |
| Kabeer, it is the most clever wisdom, to chant and meditate on the Lord in the heart. |

| ਸੂਰੀ ਊਪਰਿ ਖੇਲਨਾ ਗਿਰੈ ਤ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੧੦੯॥ |
| sooree oopar khaelanaa girai th thaahar naahi ||109|| |
| It is like playing on a pig; if you fall off, you will find no place of rest. ||109|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਸ+ਈ ਮੁਖੁ ਧੰਨਿ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਰਾਮੁ ॥ |
| kabeer suoee mukh dhhann hai jaa mukh keheeai raam || |
| Kabeer, blessed is that mouth, which utters the Lord's Name. |

| ਦੇਹੀ ਕਿਸ ਕੀ ਬਾਪੁਰੀ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੁ ਹੋਇਗੋ ਗ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥੧੧੦॥ |
| dhaehee kis kee baapuree pavithra hoeigo graam ||110|| |
| It purifies the body, and the whole village as well. ||110|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋਈ ਕੁਲ ਭਲੀ ਜਾ ਕੁਲ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਦਾਸੁ ॥ |
| kabeer soee kul bhalee jaa kul har ko dhaas || |
| Kabeer, that family is good, in which the Lord's slave is born. |
 |
| ਜਿਹ ਕੁਲ ਦਾਸੁ ਨ ਊਪਜੈ ਸੋ ਕੁਲ ਢਾਕੁ ਪਲਾਸੁ ॥੧੧੧॥ |
| jih kul dhaas n oopajai so kul dtaak palaas ||111|| |
| But that family in which the Lord's slave is not born is as useless as weeds. ||111|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਹੈ ਗਇ ਬਾਹਨ ਸਘਨ ਘਨ ਲਾਖ ਧਜਾ ਫਹਰਾਹਿ ॥ |
| kabeer hai gae baahan saghan ghan laakh dhhajaa feharaahi || |
| Kabeer, some have lots of horses, elephants and carriages, and thousands of banners waving. |
 |
| ਇਆ ਸੁਖ ਤੇ ਭਿਖ੍ਯ੍ਯਾ ਭਲੀ ਜਉ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੧੧੨॥ |
| eiaa sukh thae bhikhyaa bhalee jo har simarath dhin jaahi ||112|| |
| But begging is better than these comforts, if one spends his days meditating in remembrance on the Lord. ||112|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹਉ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਮਾਂਦਲੁ ਕੰਧ ਚਢਾਇ ॥ |
| kabeer sabh jag ho firiou maandhal kandhh chadtaae || |
| Kabeer, I have wandered all over the world, carrying the drum on my shoulder. |

| ਕੋਈ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੇਖੀ ਠੋਕਿ ਬਜਾਇ ॥੧੧੩॥ |
| koee kaahoo ko nehee sabh dhaekhee thok bajaae ||113|| |
| No one belongs to anyone else; I have looked and carefully studied it. ||113|| |
 |
| ਮਾਰਗਿ ਮੋਤੀ ਬੀਥਰੇ ਅੰਧਾ ਨਿਕਸਿਓ ਆਇ ॥ |
| maarag mothee beethharae andhhaa nikasiou aae || |
| The pearls are scattered on the road; the blind man comes along. |
 |
| ਜੋਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਕੀ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਲੰਘੇ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੧੪॥ |
| joth binaa jagadhees kee jagath oulanghae jaae ||114|| |
| Without the Light of the Lord of the Universe, the world just passes them by. ||114|| |
 |
| ਬੂਡਾ ਬੰਸੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਕਾ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਪੂਤੁ ਕਮਾਲੁ ॥ |
| booddaa bans kabeer kaa oupajiou pooth kamaal || |
| My family is drowned, O Kabeer, since the birth of my son Kamaal. |

| ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਲੇ ਆਯਾ ਮਾਲੁ ॥੧੧੫॥ |
| har kaa simaran shhaadd kai ghar lae aayaa maal ||115|| |
| He has given up meditating on the Lord, in order to bring home wealth. ||115|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਨੇ ਜਾਈਐ ਸਾਥਿ ਨ ਲੀਜੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ |
| kabeer saadhhoo ko milanae jaaeeai saathh n leejai koe || |
| Kabeer, go out to meet the holy man; do not take anyone else with you. |
 |
| ਪਾਛੈ ਪਾਉ ਨ ਦੀਜੀਐ ਆਗੈ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੧੬॥ |
| paashhai paao n dheejeeai aagai hoe s hoe ||116|| |
| Do not turn back - keep on going. Whatever will be, will be. ||116|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਜਗੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਜਿਹ ਜੇਵਰੀ ਤਿਹ ਮਤ ਬੰਧਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ॥ |
| kabeer jag baadhhiou jih jaevaree thih math bandhhahu kabeer || |
| Kabeer, do not bind yourself with that chain, which binds the whole world. |

| ਜੈਹਹਿ ਆਟਾ ਲੋਨ ਜਿਉ ਸੋਨ ਸਮਾਨਿ ਸਰੀਰੁ ॥੧੧੭॥ |
| jaihehi aattaa lon jio son samaan sareer ||117|| |
| As the salt is lost in the flour, so shall your golden body be lost. ||117|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਹੰਸੁ ਉਡਿਓ ਤਨੁ ਗਾਡਿਓ ਸੋਝਾਈ ਸੈਨਾਹ ॥ |
| kabeer hans ouddiou than gaaddiou sojhaaee sainaah || |
| Kabeer, the soul-swan is flying away, and the body is being buried, and still he makes gestures. |
 |
| ਅਜਹੂ ਜੀਉ ਨ ਛੋਡਈ ਰੰਕਾਈ ਨੈਨਾਹ ॥੧੧੮॥ |
| ajehoo jeeo n shhoddee rankaaee nainaah ||118|| |
| Even then, the mortal does not give up the cruel look in his eyes. ||118|| |
 |
| ਕਬੀਰ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਉ ਤੁਝ ਕਉ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਸੁਨਉ ਤੁਅ ਨਾਉ ॥ |
| kabeer nain nihaaro thujh ko sravan suno thua naao || |
| Kabeer: with my eyes, I see You, Lord; with my ears, I hear Your Name. |

| ਬੈਨ ਉਚਰਉ ਤੁਅ ਨਾਮ ਜੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰਿਦ ਠਾਉ ॥੧੧੯॥ |
| bain oucharo thua naam jee charan kamal ridh thaao ||119|| |
| With my tongue I chant Your Name; I enshrine Your Lotus Feet within my heart. ||119|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਸੁਰਗ ਨਰਕ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ |
| kabeer surag narak thae mai rehiou sathigur kae parasaadh || |
| Kabeer, I have been spared from heaven and hell, by the Grace of the True Guru. |

| ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਮਉਜ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਉ ਅੰਤਿ ਅਰੁ ਆਦਿ ॥੧੨੦॥ |
| charan kamal kee mouj mehi reho anth ar aadh ||120|| |
| From beginning to end, I abide in the joy of the Lord's Lotus Feet. ||120|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਮਉਜ ਕੋ ਕਹਿ ਕੈਸੇ ਉਨਮਾਨ ॥ |
| kabeer charan kamal kee mouj ko kehi kaisae ounamaan || |
| Kabeer, how can I even describe the extent of the joy of the Lord's Lotus Feet? |

| ਕਹਿਬੇ ਕਉ ਸੋਭਾ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਖਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥੧੨੧॥ |
| kehibae ko sobhaa nehee dhaekhaa hee paravaan ||121|| |
| I cannot describe its sublime glory; it has to be seen to be appreciated. ||121|| |

| ਕਬੀਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਕੈ ਕਿਹ ਕਹਉ ਕਹੇ ਨ ਕੋ ਪਤੀਆਇ ॥ |
| kabeer dhaekh kai kih keho kehae n ko patheeaae || |
| Kabeer, how can I describe what I have seen? No one will believe my words. |

| ਹਰਿ ਜੈਸਾ ਤੈਸਾ ਉਹੀ ਰਹਉ ਹਰਖਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇ ॥੧੨੨॥ |
| har jaisaa thaisaa ouhee reho harakh gun gaae ||122|| |
| The Lord is just as He is. I dwell in delight, singing His Glorious Praises. ||122|| |
